Tourist Net UK - Online Guide to Accommodation, Attractions and Activities throughout the UK

Joining Couldn't be Simpler

The first step is to see if you like us. We think you will. Come to the club on a Monday evening from around 8.00pm. If you like, you'd even be welcome to join us at our pool for a swim first. Just let us know that you are coming and we will make you welcome.

We'll talk you through the things in this web site and answer any more questions you may have. Most of all it will give you an opportunity to meet our members and see how fun loving, easy going and welcoming they are.

Call Andy Hepburn on +44 (0)7860 767 967 to discuss meeting up and joining CPA, or email Andy at: do@cpanet.co.uk

If you are still not sure, you can come along to one of our pool session family nights (there's no charge if you become a member of CPA) and just see what goes on, or you can even have a full try-dive session on scuba gear with an instructor in the pool.

What do I need to start diving?
New students will be asked to provide their own Mask, Snorkel and Fins only. We provide all the other equipment FREE during your training. Don't rush out to but any equipment - talk to us first to get an understanding of what to buy and why.

Experienced and qualified divers are very welcome too - and we expect you to have your own scuba gear. However, we can rent and loan equipment to full members.

What does it cost to become a member of CPA?
New members will need to join both the Sub Aqua Association and the CPA club. The costs that you might expect to pay initially are as follows:

Item Cost Notes
Individual Membership of the SAA
£45.00*
Annual membership. You pay the first years membership fee, CPA pays subsequent renewals each year on your behalf. Discounts are available for Students in full time education. Includes third party and accident insurance (Details available on request from the SAA).
Qualification Filofax Book
£10.00
A cool leather filofax for your qualifications and training notes
Student Starter Pack

Discounts for SAA membership are sometimes available. The above prices were correct at the time of publishing, November 2008. Please enquire for latest pricing and discounts.

If you'd like to talk to a committee member about the club first that's fine. Feel free to ring anyone on the committee for chat. Or just send us your telephone number by e-mailing do@cpanet.co.uk . We'll get in touch and do the rest.

We look forward to meeting you soon :-)
