News from Caversham Park Aquanauts (CPA) the friendliest scuba diving club in Reading.
One for the deep and dark brigade
CPA seems to have a growing number of divers keen to explore the underwater world deeper and longer. If you are one of these budding technical divers, David Jerram is putting together a training course just for you including deep wreck diving procedures, decompression and advanced use of Nitrox.
This course is intended for those divers wishing to extend the range of their dives (either in time or depth) resulting in decompression procedures needing to be carried out.
The course will include decompression planning, use of nitrox to accelerate decompression and equipment configuration. We will include some lectures and practical sessions, ideally in the sea. However, because we are conducting this training over the winter, we may need to use an inland site for skills practice.
For more information and to book onto this course, members should contact David Jerram on +44 (0)7919 591347 or email info@cpanet.co.uk
