News from Caversham Park Aquanauts (CPA) the friendliest scuba diving club in Reading.
Holidays at home or in exotic destinations?
CPA has a habit of sticking to British waters when organising club diving holidays. It's something we all know how to do, and it makes life easier. However, there is a core group within CPA that hanker for a more exotic trip - and 2007 could be the start of something special.
Number one in most peoples log books as a dive destination is the Red Sea. Trip costs are around £370 to £500 for a simple land based deal - while live-aboards to the more remote destinations can set you back a cool grand.
Other members would prefer something more Caribbean or Asian - and the club are seeking to discover what the preferences are. Divernet has a fabulous archive or articles about almost every destination - both UK and worldwide. Why not visit divernet.com to see what takes your fancy - and let the committee know if you want a trip organised for 2007 or 2008.
Don't forget - our very own Anthony Dixon is married to a dive travel operator - so we are not short of a few ideas!
