News from Caversham Park Aquanauts (CPA) the friendliest scuba diving club in Reading.
HUMBER SAVED!
During the AGM in November, members of CPA were asked to vote on the future of the club's Humber Rib. During recent years the Humber has been little used, and the club have been looking for ways to either save money or raise money in the face of financial losses.
The majority on the night voted to retain the Humber - so CPA is still a two rib club.
The club have committed to raise funds in other ways to offset the financial deficit, possibly through a summer ball and other social events.
The Humber is currently stored with Andrew Hepburn in Maidenhead, and remains an ideal boat for club training and small ad-hoc dive events during good weather periods.
