Try Scuba Diving with the CPA dive club, Reading.

If you ever wanted to try a scuba dive and want a club environment to share the thrill of diving with - now's your chance.

Try dive sessions can be organised for any Tuesday night at Crossfield School pool, Shinfield. Participants should be 18 years or older, fit and capable, keen to learn to dive and looking for a club environment. Try dives with CPA cost £24.00 per person.

To book please contact the diving officer, David Jerram on +44 (0)7919 591347.

What is a Try Dive About?
This is the ideal opportunity see what SCUBA is all about. Almost everyone who tries it is thrilled by the novel sensation of floating weightless and breathing effortlessly underwater.

The session lasts around an hour. After some brief but vital safety instruction, you'll be shown how the equipment works and then given around half an hour using SCUBA equipment in the pool under qualified supervision. If you get on well, you can try some of the real training exercises too.

Are There Any Restrictions?
The only requirements are that you have no known significant medical problems (especially heart conditions, serious ear or sinus problems, lung damage, asthma, fits or epilepsy). You will also have to sign a declaration to this effect.

Can I Give Someone a Try Dive as a Present?
Try Dives make ideal gifts for birthdays, Christmas, thank-you's, congratulations and so on.

What Do I Do Next?
If you've not tried SCUBA before, you're missing out. So treat yourself to a Try Dive and contact us now. If you'd like to do a Try Dive yourself, or buy a voucher for someone you care about, simply e-mail info@cpanet.co.uk with your phone number - we'll do the rest.
